Ingredients:
Instructions:
Olive Oil 4 T
Onion 2 large, chopped
Green Chile 1 seeded and diced
Garlic 8 cloves, chopped
White Wine 300 ml
Tomatoes 7.5 kg chopped in juice
Tomato Puree 1 tin
Salt 3 t
Sugar 6 T (depending on acidity of tomatoes)
Black Pepper 1 T
Mixed Italian Herbs 2 T
Fresh Basil 1 handful, chopped
Water 1 tomato puree tinful
Heat the sauce pan, then add the oil
Add the onion and chile and sauté until soft
Add the garlic and sauté for 90 seconds
Add the wine and reduce 50%
Add the remaining ingredients
Simmer for 2 hours
